I’ve been asked what the most interesting thing about me is when it comes to golf, and I’ve had to pause and think, “Lord, where do I even start?” I ruled out my score, my swing, and even my love for golf. But honestly, it’s my adventurous spirit!

I’ve gone to different states and played golf completely by myself. No friends, no familiar faces, just me, my clubs, and a whole lot of confidence walking up like, “Yes, I belong here,” while secretly praying, “Lord, please let me not embarrass myself on hole one.”

Most people plan trips around sightseeing. I plan mine around tee times.

I even have a bucket list to play golf in all 50 states and in different countries too. Truth be told, I’m a golfaholic, and I’ve made peace with it. No recovery plan, no support group, and no golf therapy. I am happily committed.

So if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this: I’m a single, certified, card-carrying golfaholic, and I wouldn’t mind meeting someone who understands that this is not a phase. It’s a calling.
